When we started FlyteOne™, we made it our main mission to develop an ownership program that would not only be affordable, but accessible.
More importantly, we wanted to develop a whole new way of doing business that would be all about the pilots. First, we'd get the aircraft they want. Then we'd help match them with other pilots who were interested in sharing ownership and building hours. To make sure the service we provide is top-notch, we'd staff it with some of the best aviation talent from across the country. Finally, we'd take care of all the paperwork, insurance, maintenance, and nearly everything else, so all an owner would have to do is Pick a Plane and Go™. FlyteOne™ Announces STC Program
SMA Diesel/Jet A Piston Conversions to be Offered
FlyteOne today announced that it is developing an exclusive partnership with an as-yet-unamed company to standardize STC conversions in the United States. "We are working towards attaining STC's for
Cessna 206's, Cessna 310's and the Piper Seneca's and converting them to a SMA Diesel/Jet A piston," said Alex Atteberry, President of FlyteOne.
Cheaper Gas, Better Fuel Economy
"These aircraft can operate for under 50%
of the cost of the conventional engine configurations that are currently standard in these type of
aircraft," Atteberry said. "We invite those who are interested to get on board before the rush. With fuel costs and maintenance where they are today, this is a no-brainer. People will be lining up for the conversions."
